CICERO
This is a title sequence developed for a film depicting the life and turmoil of the Roman senator Cicero. The credits progress chronologically through his life depicting the names of actors, as well as “reformists” of the senate, using the post 1st century calligraphy, while “traditionalists” and the descriptions of each character are depicted in the older more formal roman calligraphy of pre 1 AD.
The flowing type of De Oratore depicts how each major event, ranging from the Cataline rebellion to the assassination of Julius Caesar, has been manipulated by Cicero himself in this weaving historical tale.
